Hi everybody, hope every one is doing well and prepping for Christmas. This blog post will be based on where I spent the last two Saturdays. One in Berlin, One in Central London. So Lets start with Berlin.
On Friday night my Mum & I decided to hop on over to Berlin for a weekend away to see some Christmas Markets. Our only plan was to go to a few markets and every thing else was a bonus. We stayed in Alexanderplatz while we were there. I wanted to enjoy my time away more and focus less on creating content for my blog so we took a chilled out approach to the weekend and my phone died on the morning of Saturday any way! We walked slowly up the road towards Brandenburg Gate and stopped if anything caught our eye.
In the evening we decided to head over to the markets opposite our hotel and the surrounding area. It was a lovely (cramped) atmosphere and my mum tried mulled wine for the first time (no, she didn’t like it!) We ate lots of snacks and took our time walking around them. (Pictures above) I didn’t take many photos while there because my phone died on Saturday morning and I forgot to bring my portable charger cable and it was too busy to bring my camera out to the markets!
So lets jump to this Saturday just gone. I made my way over to Winter Wonderland this weekend as well as seeing Harrods for the first time. I work in Central London but very rarely get to see the sights! I just walked around and got in to the festive spirit, did a lot of window shopping (thank goodness pay day is approaching) and day dreaming about where to go to next.
This will be the last travel post from me for 2016! So I hope every one has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
