A Day Trip To Bath (in photos)

Is anyone else super guilty of never exploring on their own doorstep? I definitely am.

After going so long without visiting Bath, I managed to convince my friend to pick me up and just go. I’d be lying if I said that the movie The Duchess didn’t have a little influence.  When I visited bath I was saving intensely for my Florida Trip (you can read about it here, here and here!) and I was suffering a little bit of feeling like I was a caged animal. All I had to do was save! Don’t get me wrong, it was 100% worth it in the end!

To get in to the Roman Baths it was £15 (Update: 1.11.2018 – Now £16.50) and to get in to the gardens (top left) is now around £3 entry fee, but that is not so bad! Of course I spent an obscene amount on food too.

Unfortunately you cannot bathe in the actual Baths, those days are long gone but it is beautiful to look at. Definitely take the Audio guide option when you walk in too, it is handy if you are in to history and I feel like it takes you a little step further.

I hope the images do the talking for you! That was the main goal for the post. They are very Jane Austin-Esk and honestly that is the perfect word to describe Bath.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this short and sweet post. Let me know if you’ve ever been to Bath or it is on your bucket list! I’d personally love to see it in Winter.

This post was updated on the 1.11.2018. After reflecting through my posts I'd realised I hadn't written anything about Bath! I hope you enjoyed this.
