Hey everyone!
Welcome to my blog. My name is Kirstin and I am here to show you that you can travel and see the world without quitting your day job (or going over your holiday allowance limit!)

I started this travel blog as a little outlet for me. I used to scrap book for a few years but realised this was too much time, I wasn't showing it to anyone and I also rarely uploaded photos on Facebook. People started to complain, so here we are!
The title Lets Go Somewhere Else was born when I realised that people were remembering me as Kristin and I had a little panic no one would ever be able to find me online if I told then my name.

My childhood was spent roaming around the English countryside with my small family. Armed with a tent (and a kettle - apparently the most important item) we ventured in to places like Weymouth and Cornwall. It wasn't until I was 19 that I took my first trip abroad - Paris It was soon after that trip that I hopped on a plane for the first time too. My first flight was to NYC was later that year. (I really jumped in at the deep end there, 9 hours!) It was after this trip that despite my fear of flying, my love for travel went way beyond a yearly holiday.

I currently live in London, UK where I was born and raised. My current job is a full time Receptionist. I have a Photography Diploma under my belt and I really enjoy writing too. I also really like Disney, but I think this will be apparent when you read my blog!

Here is a mini questionnaire to get to know me a little better.

Height: 5ft exactly! (I am not lying!)
Favourite Food: Pasta, Pizza, Potatoes, chocolate. - ALL THE CARBS.
Pets?: Two little cats - Bella (F) & Buttons (M)
Favourite Film (s): Your Name (A Japanese anime movie that I highly recommend), Mulan, Moana, World War Z.
Equipment I use when travelling: Iphone 7 Plus, Canon EOS 500d with EF 18-55mm Lens.
"Weird" little hobbies: Collecting vintage looking postcards, Disney Pin Trading, Collecting Disney Minnie Ear headbands.
A few facts: I am really good at toy grabby machines and remembering pointless little facts.

...and that's me! I hope you enjoy my website and if you want to contact me at all you can do so here: KirstinDalton@yahoo.com
